A. Strategies helpful to new players:
1. Upgrade the farm in high pioriority, no one is happy on an empty stomach.
2. Upgrade the defense structures in high pioriority, such as castle walls and arrow towers. Sometimes the best offense is a good defense. 3. Play the game frequently, spend your resources before other kingdoms rob you. Log in at least once per day. 4. Say hello to big kingdoms. Send messages to them, make friends with them. Everyone could use more friends in high places. 5. Join an alliance if possible. Remember, there is usually safety in numbers. 6 Go to the game forum and discuss the game with other players. 7. Ordering powerful artifacts can give you a serious edge over your opponents. If you like to win, these are definitely for you.
B. Game Operations
1. Upgrade a structure Click 'Construction' in the left menu. You'll see all structures in this castle. Click the farm in the image, and an 'upgrade' button will show at the right bottom. After clicking this button, the upgrade process will start.
2. Upgrade a technology Click 'Technology' in the left menu, you'll see all technologies listed. Click the 'architechture' (the first one in the second row), an upgrade button will show at the bottom right. Please click it and the upgrade process will start.
3. Recruit a sholdier Click 'Recruitment' in the left menu, you'll see all soldiers listed in front of the soldier camp. Pay attention to the brown colored hunter at the bottom center. Click on it and a dialog box will pop up. Now, just click 'recruit' and the recruitment process will start.
4. Setup defense soldiers Once the recruitment process is finished, you'll see that a hunter appears in your soldier camp. This hunter is marked by a yellow 'D'. That means this soldier is set to defend the castle by default. Click on the hunter in the soldier camp. You'll see a dialog box pop up with a check box infront of the 'Defender' Field. Uncheck it if you don't want him to defend the castle, then click 'OK'. At this time, you'll see the 'D' mark disappear beside the hunter, that means he won't take part in the battle when some one attacks your castle.
5. Recruit a hero Click 'Recruitment' in the left menu, then click the 'Heroes' button at the bottom right. You'll see a few heroes show up on the grass. Click one of them, then click the 'recruit' button. This hero is now recruited.
6. Spy a castle To spy, click 'World Map'. You'll see all the castles on the continent. Browse the continent by clicking on any of the castles except yours (the one marked with a little triangle). You'll see the SPY button (indicated by a telescope) highlighted. Click the spy button and the spy process will start. After you send a spy, click the 'Battle Front' in the left menu. Then click the 'Spy Log' button at the bottom, you'll see the spy is proceeding. Once it is finished, you'll see a spy report showing the statistics of the targeted castle.
7. Fight a castle Click 'World Map', you'll see all the castles on the continent. Browse the continent and click any of the castles except yours (the one marked with a little triangle). You'll see the ATTACK button (indicated by an axe) highlighted. Click the ATTACK button, you'll go to the first page to select the hero, then second page to select armies. The attack process will now begin. Click the 'Battle Front' in left menu, then click the 'battle log' button at the bottom, you'll see your army is on the way to attack. After the battle finishes, you'll receive a battle report.
8. Send messages to others Click 'World Map', you'll see all the castles on the continent. Browse the continent, click any of the castles except yours (the one marked with a little triangle). You'll see the CHAT button (indicates by an armet) highlighted. Click the CHAT button, you'll be brought to the 'Diplomacy' interface. Once there, click the letter icon to send messages to other castles. |
