1. Empires Online features unique gameplay. Whether you are online or offline, your empire collects resources and grows. Everything that you do is in real time. Please click the arrows to see more tips.

2. 'Honor' on the top bar shows your rough national strength, you can improve it by upgrading structures, technologies, or building armies.

3. All players are striving for power and glory, 'Rank' shows how many players are stronger than you, you need to useconstruction, diplomacy or even wars to help your empire grow faster to exceed others.

4. Resources are vital in the game. The quickest way to get resources is to plunder other players. Please click the button below to see our video tutorial, it'll show you how to attack and plunder.

5. Upgrading farms, silver mines, stone fields and lumbers gives you steady income of resources. Resource productions are the same as real world, they never stop even after you logout the game. 

6. The scrolls at the left-bottom corner contains a number of bonus missions, they will guide you to develop and you can get bonus after finish them.

7. If you want to pay to speed up the development, we recommend the resource package. It gives you a lot of resources at one time so you can develop rapidly. Please click the 'Artifacts' button to see it.

8. To become a successful lord, you should login the game as often as you can. Assign armies to attack or defend strategically, schedule development plans carefully and spend resources in time.

9. Please keep in mind even you don't assign any soldier to defend the
castle, your enemies can still drag one of your troops to fight. Don't leave your empire alone for days, enemies may kill your troops one by one.

10. Heroes are important in this game. They lead soldiers in battles, their abilities directly affect your soldiers combat effectiveness. Click 'Recruitment' -> 'Heroes', you can recruit new heroes.

11. Killing enemy soldiers can help upgrade heroes. If you find there is no soldier to kill in the enemy castle, just hit again, further hit can drag one of their troops to fight.

12. Killing enemy soldiers also gives you courage points. Once you obtain 100 courage points, you'll get one champion as bonus. Champion is the most powerful soldier of human.

13. Shield of Peace is the most valuable artifact, once you buy it: No one can attack your main castle. 2. No one can steal resources from your towns. 

14. Click 'Battlefront' -> 'Battle Log' -> 'Defense', you are able to assign soldiers to defend your castle. When the castle is under attack, they'll fight the invaders.

15. To occupy a town, just send troops to attack it untill all villagers are killed. The second page of a battle log shows how many villagers left in a town. Main caslte can't be occupied.

16. The game only allows one player to own 5 accounts at most. If you want to own more than 5, the extra accounts should have any of following artifacts: Shield of Peace or Dark Cloak.

17. Joining an alliance can help you a lot. Click 'Dilomacy' -> 'Alliance' to browse alliance and join. Don't forget to check the alliance hall at our website, it helps you organize alliance wars. 

18. When you find the resource number becomes red, that means your honor is too low to hold more resources. Please upgrade structures, technogies or recruit soldiers to improve your honor.

19. Towns give you a lot of benefits. They produce resources and allow you to recruit other kinds of soldiers. Occupying more towns can accelerate your development greatly.

20. Each player is allowed to build a new town and he'll be the owner of this town. If one player occupies a town, he can't hold the town permanently, this town will be returned to its owner after 7 days.
